SPOTLIGHT ON MENTORS

As the ABCT Academic Training and Education Standards committee, we annually solicit nominations for the “Spotlight on a Mentor” recognition to highlight the diversity of excellent research mentors within the membership ranks of ABCT. Its goal is to spotlight promising early-career and well-established mentors across all levels of academic rank, areas of specialization, and type of institution.

This year, we received far fewer nominations than in past years. Although the original nomination deadline has passed, we have extended the deadline to October 15, 2020 and hope that you will consider nominating a mentor who has positively impacted you and provided exceptional guidance and dedication. We are especially seeking nominations for mentors from underrepresented groups.

ABCT's Spotlight on a Mentor program aims to highlight the diversity of excellent research mentors within the organization's membership ranks. Our goal is to spotlight both promising and accomplished mentors across all levels of academic rank, area of specialization, and type of institution.
